Newsfax International provide printing facilities for the major media publishers, such as the FT and the Guardian newspapers.

Giffen Switchgear for the first of three sites provided its experience, product and services on this important project to such a degree of satisfaction, that the client had no reservations in choosing Giffen Switchgear again for its next two sites.

Project management and supply co-ordination provided by Giffen Switchgear with the other service contractors on site meant that the whole project was completed on time for the start up and running of the presses.

Scope of work:

Design, manufacture, supply, installation, test and commissioning of :

• HV extensible switchgear
• Cast resin transformers proving a total power of 5MW
• LV Switchboards
• LV feeder busway trunking and associated panels.
